Risks and Mitigations
Peer Payment Risks
To reduce the risk of Users not having the required KudoFuel to fulfil their Peer Agreement smart contracts with CSEs, we will establish an allocation system for KudoFuel. By โallocatingโ or โholdingโ KudoFuel as part of the facilitated smart contracts, until the defined tasks are completed satisfactorily, it will prevent double spending.
Funding
We have analysed our budget and are sure we can develop the Weaverly support platform and the team of Customer Support Engineers to meet the requirements of the growing Web 3.0 ecosystem. More information about our funding model will be shared in the coming months
Security and Privacy
In 2019 a survey of over 1,500 security professionals, 61% stated they had experienced a data leak at their current employer. To prevent data leaks we are developing our platform using the Holochain framework. To maintain market leading security and privacy, while ensuring Weaverly is not a resource for illicit activity, we will implement a series of protocols. These may include: permission access, monitoring of some KudoFuel exchanges and CSE interactions with Users. We will rely on these protocols and the Evos community feedback system to protect Users.
Systems Penetration and Sharding
We need to use multiple security measures and backup data to prevent malware attacks and ensure uninterrupted service. By building Weaverly using Holochain, we can store and protect data more securely throughout its distributed hash table using their proprietary rrDHT protocol. This helps us counteract new types of attacks that may arise.
Community Security Hardening
In distributed and decentralised networks, security and privacy are very important. These new technologies and protocols require Users to learn basic security practices, Weaverly CSEs will help Users be confident in protecting themselves and their data in the Web 3.0 environment.
Peer Agreements
We will create clear rules and service agreements for how our platforms work and how platform users will be expected to behave. We will make it easy for platform users to give feedback and hold each other accountable. These peer agreement rules will be reviewable by those CSEs and Participant Supporters with Trusted Peer status.
Peer Permissions
We will create permissions for different CSEs based on their roles, certification, and reputation. This will limit their access to only the necessary functions on the platform. These permissions will be part of the certification process and visible to everyone in the community.
IT Industry Standards
We will meet or surpass all required standards such as PCI DSS and ISO to demonstrate our commitment to the security and data integrity of all our platform users.
GDPR Responsibilities
Weaver Networks Ltd have a responsibility to protect personal data belonging to our platform users. Platform users are required to agree that we will store data we receive for a maximum of 5 years after they unsubscribe, have their account suspended, or show prolonged inactivity. If an account is inactive for a year, we will send a warning and wait for 7 days before closing it. We won't collect any more personal data than necessary to comply with KYC regulations, and all collected data will be kept securely and encrypted. Once data has been stored for 5 years, it will be removed and cannot be recovered.
